Writers Conference

The third year of the Sunday School Curriculum Writers Conference was held from April 26-30, 2011 in Grand Turks. This was held at the Grand Turk Methodist School Hall. There were 14 writers. The group had to complete 52 lessons both Teachers' and Students' Manuals. The week was very successful and the work continues as editing has to be completed.
The Christian Education Department thanks all the persons who availed themselves to write for the entire week and wish them all the very best in the future.
Thanks to Dr. Hugh Fulford and family and Rev.Stacia Williams-Christmas for hosting the persons who came from the Nassau and Andros Circuits; and to the ladies who assisted with providing the meals for the week.
This year is the final year for writing the curriculum until 2014. We extend a hearfelt gratitude to all the writers from Years One and Two along with the Age Level Editor, Mrs. Jean Rolle, District Editor- Mrs. Mazee Brusch, District Representative-Mrs. Deborah Barry and Theological Advisors-Rev. Mark Christmas and Rev. Stacia Williams-Christmas; and the Nassau Circuit for hosting the past two years.

Church School Lord's Day

Church School Lord's Day will be celebrated on May 15. The Nassau Circuit will be having its Annual Church School Lord's Day March and Rally and the Grand Turk Methodist Church will have the Church School children particiapting fully in the morning worship. This service is planned by the teachers and children of the Church School (Sunday School).

Use the opportunity to share information about Sunday School in your congregations.

Deadline for Youth Gathering and Children's Summit

The first deadline for the District camps was April 30. The second deadline is July 10. Anyone who misses the first deadline must pay all the registration fees by the second deadline. Kindly contact your children and youth leaders for registration forms.
Circuit are encouraged to send their first payments as soon as possible.

199th BTCIC

The Conference continues. Today, Tuesday, we met in Conference Committees, Christian Education, General Education, Mission and Evangeliam, Resources and Development. The General Purposes Committee also met. Tonight at 7:30 a.m. Rev. Mark Christmas will lead the Conference in the Evangelistic Service.

199th Session of the BTCI Conference

The 199th Session of the Bahamas/Turks and Caicos Islands Conference began on Thursday, January 13 at the Wesleyan Methodist Church, Providenciales, North TCI Circuit. The Conference began with Ministerial Retreat. Ministerial Session began on Saturday, January 15. The Flag Raising Ceremony was held on Monday, January 17. Representative Session began also on Monday.

The Conference continues.
