Connexion Essay Competition

Andros Youth Week
The youth of the Andros Circuit will be celebrating their Youth Week from March 7-13, 2010 under the theme, "Mission 250: A Generations of Youth, Wiser and Stronger." The week begins with participation in worship services. The rest of week is as follows: Tuesday, March 9- Panel Discussion at Mt. Zion Methodist Church
Thursday, March 11- Elocution Competition at Wesley Methodist, Mastic Point
Saturday, March 13- Bake Sale at North Andros High School
Sunday, March 14- March of Witness and Rally at Wesley Methodist Church,
Mastic Point. The speaker will be Ms. Kelli Jolly from
the Nassau Circuit and candidate for the itinerant
ministry.

Conference Ends
The 198th Session of the Bahamas/Turks and Caicos Islands Conference is now history. It is time now for persons to continue the work of God in their various circuits, and to execute the decisions made from Conference. One of the highlights was the election of Conference Officers. The new officers elect are Rev. Derek C. O. Browne-resident/Bishop, Mrs. Judy Munroe-Vice President, Rev. Edward Sykes-Secretary, Rev. Cecil Newbold-Assistant Secretary, Mr. Arthur Chase-Treasurer. We pray God's blessings on them as they take on these important tasks.
We thank the past officers, Rev. Dr. Raymond R. Neilly-President/Bishop, Mr. Arthur Chase-Vice President, Rev. Derek C. O. Browne-Secretary, Rev. Emily Demeritte-Assistant Secretary and Mr. Kendrick Christie Treasurer. Many blessings to them.

BTCI Conference New President
As the Bahamas/Turks and Caicos Islands Conference is being held in Nassau, Bahamas, the delegates continue to execute the business of the church with zeal and vision. The election of the President was held on Tuesday, January 19. The Rev. Derek C. O. Browne has been elected as the new President for this Conference for the next three years. Rev. Browne comes from the island of Antigua but has been serving this Conference since 1995. Congratulations Rev. Browne and may God richly bless you.

BTCI Conference 2010
The Bahamas/Turks and Caicos Islands Conference will meet in its Annual Session of Conference from January 14-24, 2010 at the Wesley Methodist Church, Malcolm Road int he Nassau Circuit. The theme is 'Ready for Miracles-Energizing the Conference NOWW.' Representatives from the six circuits, Nassau, Grand Bahama, South Eleuthera, Andros, South Turks and Caicos Islands, and North Turks and Caicos Islands will in attendance. During the meeting there will be the election of officers for the next three years.
